'Temporal Control' and Mediation

The authors in this article speak about 'temporal control' for leaders, but the use of time is also a vital tool in the skill set of a mediator.

And yet, we also use time as a boundary, a goal, to facilitate working towards identifying their common solutions and creating a new way of working, ideally formalised into the working agreement.

Leadership skills, such as 'temporal control' are applicable to mediators, particularly in exercising clear communication and boundaries when having difficult conversations.
